Paste the old and new OpenAPI (or Swagger) spec, in JSON or YAML, and get breaking and non-breaking changes in seconds.
Runs entirely in your browser. Your data is read on your device and never uploaded: this page has no cookies and no third-party trackers; at most it sends us anonymous counts (a page view, and that a result was shown), never your data. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
How to use it
- PreparePaste or pick the old spec on the left and the new spec on the right (JSON or YAML, OpenAPI 3 or Swagger 2).
- RunPress Compare. Parsing and diffing happen on your device.
- ActFix or announce the breaking changes before you ship.

Honest limits
Removed endpoints and newly required parameters use the API Change Radar engine rules. Extra checks: parameter type changes, request bodies that became required, removed responses, deprecations and additions; local $ref parameters are resolved. Not checked: response body schemas, external $ref, security scopes.
